Helex Partners Unlimited is a USA-based fraud company that scammed our organisation with 1404 USD. When we demanded to refund, they started threatening my boss to defame his image on social media. What required legal action should we take?

Our organization has the requirement of A4 Size paper in good quantity. On Alibaba, I found an advertisement regarding A4 size copier paper. Through advertisement, we found HELEX PARTNER UNLIMITED, 10701 Corporate Dr, Suite 390 Starford Texas, 77477 USA, a USA based company for the supply of A4 Size paper.

We ordered HELEX PARTNER UNLIMITED for 7800 packet/ ream (1 Container) and as per contract, we transfer $1404 USD using our organization, Allahabad Banks, Bank account on 12 Dec 2018 to HELEX PARTNER UNLIMITED Bank Account.

After receiving the amount they refused to refund (On 14-Jan-2019). When we started taking legal action against them. they started continuously threatening us to defame my image in social media (on the internet). I already inform the local police about this matter. We are under process to take legally required action against. I am attaching the screenshot of WhatsApp chat.

These people are from USA , please suggest us what legal action we should take against them.
